How to split Sales Order Confirmations for single Sales Order in AX 2012

Scenario: Customer has two warehouses / different delivery locations, placed an order for two different Items and requested to deliver each item to each warehouse.

We can split Sale Order Confirmations into two different confirmation reports for one sales order based on different delivery address of customer.

Prerequisite Setup:

• Accounts Receivable > Setup> Parameters and select Summary update from Left hand menu

Select the check box of Confirmation in delivery information column under Split based on section as per below screenshot.

• And need to create two different delivery addresses of customer in Customer Form

Accounts Receivable > Common> Customers>All customers and select the customer and create different addresses for different locations.

Now, create Sales Order for particular customer with two sales orders line for two different Items and different delivery address for each line.

Now, we will confirm the sales order as part of sales order process…

In above screen shot we can see two different confirmation lines have been created for sales order.

Select the Print Confirmation check box and click on OK in Sales order Confirmation from.

Now you can see the two sales confirmation reports will be generating at a time.

Here is our two reports ready to print with two different confirmation numbers for One Sales order……

Now, we can send two confirmation reports to our customer head office or each report to each delivery address.
